im sooo disappointed. i assumed this tour would be their last. and was looking forward to seeing them again. last time they played in perth was an amazing, intimate and unforgettable experience. i’d love to know what the circumstances are, that they have to cancel the whole tourthis time.

I understand that things more important in people’s lives come up forcing such cancellations, but just a little more detail at some stage soon would be greatly appreciated. It doesn’t have to state who the personal issue is or specific details. Just that at the moment it comes across (not saying it is) a bit of a fob off. I’m sure there are others like me that have not only bought tickets, but booked flights and accommodation that are non-refundable as you planned to skip Adelaide this time around. If you re-schedule, it would be great if you included Adelaide. Anyway, I wish whoever this personal issue is affecting that it is reolved positively soon.

Shattered! I went to the amazing Melbourne show in July ’09 but was disappointed not to hear a few of my favourite songs from your earlier albums, which is why I was so looking forward to seeing you again and hearing “the best of”. Please come back soon Doves!
guys not that i was going to the oz tour, well because i live in scotland, but just hope its nothing serious, more talk of you guys splitting, really hope it turns out to be rubbish like in the past. you are legends, and hope you have plenty more albums in you, not to mention live shows, coz il tell you something they are awesome, i know i’ve, been to quite a few and they are the best gigs i have ever been to. hope whatever it is gets sorted and hope to see you soon, AGR
My favourite band now for 10 years. I can’t describe what Doves means to me and shattered to hear that the show has been cancelled. I just hope that Doves returns to our shores again soon. All the best to the lads.
